Position Overview:

ResponsibleLiving, a dynamic player in the real estate property management sector, is on the lookout for a highly skilled and strategic Corporate Controller. This pivotal role is tailor-made for a professional who excels in managing cash flows, navigating QuickBooks, and handling the intricacies of rental income and investment funding.

This position is distinctly geared towards the financial stewardship of our diverse property portfolio and investment ventures. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of financial acumen, strategic oversight, and a hands-on approach to leading our financial operations, ensuring our commitment to sustainable and community-focused living solutions is financially sound.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations Mastery: Take charge of all accounting and financial operations, including but not limited to managing accounts, budgeting, financial forecasting, and generating financial reports. Ensure rigorous accuracy and compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Cash Flow and QuickBooks Leadership: Expertly manage cash flow for operational efficiency and oversee the use of QuickBooks to ensure optimal financial processing and reporting.
• Rental Income and Investment Management: Strategically handle rental income from various properties and manage funds from multiple investors, aligning with our growth and sustainability goals.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to craft and implement robust financial strategies that support the company’s mission and long-term objectives.
• Manage financing plans and capital structure:  Establish and maintain relationships with finance partners, reporting.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and address financial risks, developing strategies to protect the company’s assets and ensure financial stability.
• Investor and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with investors and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and consistent communication regarding financial performance and strategic direction.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a Corporate Controller, with significant experience in financial management within the real estate or property management sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial processes, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in managing QuickBooks and handling complex cash flows.
• A solid foundation in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in financial planning, risk management, and investment funding.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• A strategic thinker, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable strategies.
